This year has not been that productive for the ohio boys. This is a Botton buck that I shot in october. From there I seen lots of nice deer just was unable to seal the deal. I didn't and have not recently gotten out as much as I could have or would have liked to have. With the recent addition to the family sleep has been more important then trophy bucks. Here are the stats for the Ohio boys.
Little Ken thats me-1 botton buck
Big Ken thats DAd-0
Ray A. Martin- 2 a 6-point buck and a botton buck
Tim-0
Anthony-0 but one nice turkey in the spring with bow.
Team PA had almost as much luck out of state as we did in our own.

One last doe down for the season...and a raccoon too!

Well, we have had a long deer season here in Pittsburgh, PA. However, it has been a very fruitful one. I shot my third doe of the year yesterday on MLK day. I did not get any pictures of it, but I did get video of the shot. About 40 minutes before the doe I also shot a raccoon at 40 yards. Both shots were taken with my bow. The doe ran about 250 yards before dying with a double lung shot. I have never seen a deer run that far after being double lunged, this made for a nice long uphill drag.

Barring any changes over the next few days the total tally for the Pittsburgh boys, on the season is as follows:
Tyson: -.5 deer. I would have given him -1 but the buck he shot did lose all of its blood and managed to continue living.
Bryant: -2.5 deer. Ask Bryant for details...
Jev: +1 deer, for his excellent shot on a retarded 8 pt buck.
Charlie: +10, OK he only shot one ten point but it was on a full sprint with a flintlock at 40 yards.
Ryan: +4, 3 does in PA and a 7 pt buck in OH, this is by far my best season, but also the most time I have ever spent in the woods.

I am not exactly sure how the OH boys did this season, but I know it was not as well as last year, but last year was amazing for them.

Here are the videos from our latest hunt. Much thanks to Jev, the unstable camera man.
