2008-2009 Hunting Season!!!!!!!!!

Well the season drawls close to the end for deer on Feb. 3 for the Ohio crew. It's been a great year for some and an average to below average for others. Not sure that do to the weather I'll get out any more before the season ends. However, I am starting to look forward to the hunting adventures that are soon to come. I'm sure that there will be a little coyote hunting in the future for the Ohio crew as well a some Ferrel hog hunting in southern Ohio. Not to mention that we have the all important Spring Turkey season of 2009 just round the corner. Just as are wives thought they had us back it's time to hit the woods to scout out "Ol'Tom". I'm hoping that this season will bring some more video with a few kills on them for some excitement. This will be the first year testing those waters. Happy Hunting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anthony has been having a heck of a season. I know what your thinking he already killed a buck this isn't one that he shoot but he did find it this morning while looking for his 4th deer that he shoot at last light the night before. This deer was shoot some time during the muzzle loader season we think he is a huge 10 pointer. I believe that this may be the same deer that I happened to miss with my bow early in the season. The deer in the area just keep getting bigger and lots of sighting of even bigger ones in the area. Bryant and friends look forward to a great week of hunting in the early archery season next year!!!!!!!!!

Well Blow decided to come into town the week after the black powder deer hunt for Ohio was over. So, I treated him to a little bow hunt which was less then exciting. All we seen that morning in those stands were squirrels every where. It wasn't till we got out of the stand that we seen some deer. Mike was out with use and came over and said there were twelve in a near by field. We hustled over to see by the time we got there only one remained minding her own business eating. I told mike to walk straight at her to see how close he could get to her.I kid you not mike walked to with in 40 yards of that deer as she walked toward him and turned broad side mike let an arrow fly and got a nice little doe that morning. some guys luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
