Since the season opened 1 week ago I have been out 3 different times in 3 different stands and have still not even seen a deer. Luck just hasn't gone in my favor yet. I am headed out for the last few hours tomorrow night and then again on Saturday morning when Buck archery season opens here in PA. Hopefully this Saturday will be when I nail that big one I have been hunting for all of these years!
Three days into the Season Ohio!!!!!
Well as you can see do to the lack of pictures there was not much action in the state of ohio on opening day at least in Madison county. However, the morning brings a new day and hopefully something will be moving.

I went fishing last night on the Allegheny river with some buddies and we caught three huge flathead catfish. The biggest one was caught by Ryan Gebfert and weighed in at 29.5 pounds and the next biggest one weighed in at 13 pounds and was caught by Nate Mcknight. Earlier in the day we had caught some creek chubs and blue gills and were fishing with them live off the bottom underneath a spill way with a carolina rig. A couple weeks ago one of our friends caught a 40 pounder in this same spot.
